Who we are
Scrap Car Value Check (scrapcarvaluecheck.co.uk) is run by HTML Studio. For anything about your data, email hello@htmlstudio.co.uk.
What you enter
The value check works from the make and model you choose. You do not need an account. Your registration number and postcode are never stored by us.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure visits and page use. GA4 runs in consent mode: analytics storage is denied by default and only granted if you click Accept on the cookie bar. Advertising storage stays denied. Google processes this data as our processor. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing cookies for this site. See the cookie policy for details of the cc, _ga and _ga_* cookies.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Partners
Some links go to partners such as Cash For Cars through a /go/ link. Once you leave our site, the partner and its affiliate network handle your data under their own privacy and cookie policies, and may set their own cookies. We may earn a commission if you use a partner, at no extra cost to you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Email hello@htmlstudio.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes, and change the date above.
